Goa’s tourism department will use surveillance drones to monitor beaches and stop illegal activities. The drones will help detect garbage, encroachments, touting and other violations. The state has also extended its Beach Shack Policy by one year. Shack owners must apply for licence renewals before August 15 to prepare for the upcoming tourist season.
