A fire broke out on the oil tanker MT Marivex near Oman while carrying 24 Indian seafarers. The vessel was travelling from Karwar to Duqm when the incident occurred. Indian authorities said all crew members are safe and evacuation efforts are underway. The government, Navy and Embassy are coordinating rescue operations and investigating the cause.
