Vote counting for the Falta assembly repoll began at 8 AM today under tight security arrangements. At least 35 companies of central armed police forces have been deployed to maintain order at the counting centre. Despite political tensions, the repoll held on May 21 recorded a high voter turnout of over 87%, with 2.36 lakh voters participating in the process.
