Punjab has suspended DSP Harjinder Singh Gill and Drug Inspector Naresh Kumar in the Parvinder Singh Jhota murder case. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has ordered a CBI probe following the family’s demand. Jhota, an anti-drug activist, was shot dead inside a medical shop in Mansa on October 13 after reportedly questioning the sale of intoxicating drugs.
