Dhami Govt Replaces Friday Holiday In Madrasas

Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has ended Friday holidays in madrasas and announced Sunday as the weekly holiday for all. He said the move promotes uniform rules in education. The Congress criticised the decision as political, while some Muslim community members objected. However, some madrasa teachers welcomed the change and said they would follow the order.
