Nepalese authorities banned the import, sales, and distribution of Priyagold biscuits manufactured by India-based Surya Food and Agro Limited. This decision follows strict actions by India's food regulator, which suspended the company's license and launched prosecutions after discovering severe hygiene violations, including using cattle feed bran in the manufacturing.
