Bathukamma celebrations are taking place with great enthusiasm across Telangana as devotees celebrate the 8th day of floral festival today. Observed on Ashwayuja Shuddha Saptami, the day is known as 'Vennamuddala Bathukamma'. All devotees also offer Goddess Gauramma a traditional naivedyam prepared with sesame seeds, jaggery and butter or ghee.
