TG Power Demand Hits Record High As Temperatures Soar

Telangana’s electricity demand hit a record 20,003 MW on October 15 due to summer-like heat, high humidity, increased AC use, urban growth and farm needs. Despite the surge, power utilities ensured an uninterrupted supply. Officials said advance planning and the efforts of engineers and field staff helped manage the record demand.
