Delhi’s Pitampura Ramlila celebrations will feature a 30-foot cockroach effigy alongside Ravan, Kumbhkaran and Meghnad this year. Organisers say it symbolises dirt and promotes cleanliness. The move comes amid protests by the CJP, which is demanding Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar’s resignation over alleged voter list irregularities.
