Ahmedabad's Food Safety Department raided a Pirana factory producing counterfeit tomato ketchup and seized 2,000 kg of adulterated products. Officials found unhygienic conditions and ingredients including potato pulp, starch, acids and chemical colours. The sauce was allegedly supplied to street food vendors. Samples have been sent for laboratory testing.
