The Centre has directed all telecom operators to implement mandatory Caller Name Presentation from November 1. The service will display callers' registered names alongside their phone numbers. The initiative aims to help users identify unknown callers, improve transparency, and combat spam calls, fraudulent activities and telephone-based scams across India.
