New Cargo Record! Vizag Port Crosses 50 Million Tonnes

Visakhapatnam Port has achieved a big milestone by handling 50 million metric tonnes of cargo in just 196 days during 2026-27 financial year. As per the Port Authority, cargo handling reached 50,007,081 tonnes by Oct 13, achieving the landmark 17 days earlier than the previous year. Senior officials congratulated the traffic dept for its operational efficiency.
