Was Mamata Banerjee Attacked? Kolkata Police Rejects Claim

Kolkata Police Commissioner Ajay Kumar Nand rejected claims that a woman tried to attack Mamata Banerjee outside her home. He said she had approached the former Chief Minister to meet her. The woman was arrested after Tuesday’s incident. However, TMC leaders alleged she carried a knife and attempted to attack Banerjee as she left for a Durga Puja event.
