Former West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee today condemned the arrest of Cockroach Janata Party leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka over trespassing at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. She accused authorities of attempting to silence a generation and urged people to unite in defending democracy. Banerjee also alleged that democracy was being undermined across the country.
