Delhi Police has summoned Congress MP Angomcha Bimol Akoijam for questioning on October 15 in a sexual harassment case. An FIR was registered after a complaint by JNU’s chief security officer. At least 11 female students reportedly raised complaints against him. JNU dismissed him on October 9 following an internal inquiry into the allegations.
