The DGCA has banned the MOBIKINS MK-PB-04 powerbank on all flights to, from and within India after a fire incident on an IndiGo flight forced it to divert to Hyderabad. The ban covers passengers and cargo. Travellers must carry powerbanks only in hand baggage and cannot use them to charge devices during flights. Passengers should check model numbers before travelling.
