Odisha's Cabinet approved free textbooks for 28.7 lakh Class 9 and 10 students in government and aided schools, allocating ₹284 crore over five years. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi also cleared a ₹500-crore urban drainage scheme to tackle flooding and waterlogging, aiming to improve education and infrastructure across the state.
