India's indigenous Light Utility Helicopter (LUH), developed by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, has reached the final stages of certification. Designed for reconnaissance, surveillance and logistical support in difficult terrain, the helicopter is nearing operational deployment. It aims to boost India's defence capabilities and reduce reliance on imports.
