The Delhi government has made Aadhaar mandatory for consumers to receive electricity subsidies. Under the scheme, households get 200 units free monthly, while those using 201–400 units receive a 50% subsidy, capped at Rs 800. Consumers without Aadhaar must enrol and submit their enrolment ID to continue receiving benefits under the scheme.
