Delhi University has approved a Rs 5,889 crore plan to provide hostel accommodation for 21,895 students. The project includes new hostels and the rebuilding of two existing ones. Facilities will include dining halls, reading rooms, shops and common areas. New hostels are planned across several campuses to meet students’ growing accommodation needs.
