Gutkha, Tobacco Pan Masala Banned In This State

Uttarakhand has imposed a one-year ban on the manufacture, storage, distribution and sale of gutkha and food products containing tobacco or nicotine from October 13, 2026. The move aims to protect public health and reduce tobacco-related diseases. The ban covers manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers, with action possible against those who violate the rules.
