Mumbai Police filed a case against Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray and MNS leader Amit Thackeray following their participation in a solidarity protest. The demonstration at Shivaji Park opposed the detention of agitators demanding the Chief Election Commissioner's resignation over alleged electoral roll irregularities, during which Aaditya climbed a police van.
