Muddapappu Bathukamma is celebrated on 3rd day of Bathukamma festival, known as Ashwayuja Shuddha Vidiya. Women offer Goddess Gauri a traditional naivedyam made with cooked dal, rice, milk and jaggery, praying for their families' happiness. A special feature of this day is the use of Muddachamanthi flowers while arranging the colourful Bathukamma.
