Convicted murderer Christa Pike has returned to prison after being discharged from hospital after a failed execution attempt in Tennessee, US. She received two doses of pentobarbital, but the injections did not kill her. Initially hospitalised in critical condition, Pike later regained consciousness. Her lawyers reported that she was walking but remained foggy.
