The Madhya Pradesh High Court has cancelled the 2019 law that raised OBC reservation from 14% to 27%. The court ruled that there was no special reason to justify the increase. Earlier selections under the higher quota will remain valid, while 13% of reserved posts kept on hold must be filled by unreserved category candidates within three months.
