Supreme Court Clears Path For AP Local Body Polls

The Supreme Court has cleared the way for upcoming local body polls in Andhra Pradesh. The AP State Election Commission (SEC) has stated that it is ready to issue the notification within 6 weeks, as directed by the High Court. The court ruled that polls should use the revised voter list if the SIR process is completed, otherwise, the existing roll will apply.
