4.9-Magnitude Earthquake Jolts Uttarakhand

An earthquake of magnitude 4.9 struck Uttarakhand’s Chamoli district on Tuesday night, with tremors felt across parts of Delhi-NCR and Uttar Pradesh. According to the National Centre for Seismology, the quake occurred at a depth of 13 km. The epicentre was located at 30.103°N latitude and 79.561°E longitude in Chamoli, Uttarakhand, officials said.
