SC Refuses Plea To Operate 4 Frozen TMC Accounts

The Supreme Court has dismissed a plea by the Mamata Banerjee-led TMC faction seeking access to 4 debit-frozen bank accounts holding over ₹800 crore. The Calcutta High Court had earlier denied interim relief, while allowing access to three other frozen accounts for routine expenses under a court-appointed special officer. The dispute concerns control of the TMC.
