Meta To Charge WhatsApp Business For Messages Soon

Starting October 1, 2026, Meta will revise WhatsApp Business pricing in India, charging businesses for utility messages, such as order updates, sent within a 24-hour window. Each business gets 1,000 free monthly service replies, after which charges apply. However, regular WhatsApp users will continue to send and receive messages completely free of charge.
