CJP co-convenor Ashutosh Ranka challenged Assam CM Himanta after being released from what he described as “illegal detention” in Guwahati. Ranka and other volunteers were detained ahead of the group’s regional meeting. He said the CJP would continue its activities while accusing the state govt of attempting to suppress their campaign.
