Amit Shah and Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel flagged off India's first LNG-powered train from Sabarmati. It uses diesel-plus-LNG dual fuel, letting LNG replace about 40% of diesel, cutting costs and emissions. Over 2,000 km of trials are done. Shah also launched rail projects worth over Rs 1,542 crore, including the WAG-12 shed and Kavach system.
