Char Dham Yatra was suspended from Saturday afternoon until Sunday due to red and orange rain alerts in Uttarakhand. Officials said the pilgrimage will resume when weather improves. Over 50 lakh pilgrims have visited this year, with Badrinath recording the highest footfall. The Yatra began April 19 and continues until November.
