Sunita and Shashank, wife and son of Mahoba BJP district treasurer Neeraj Gupta, died in a bus fire on the Yamuna Expressway after Shashank stayed back to save his mother, who had difficulty walking. Nine people died. Passengers had warned of a burning smell; the driver and conductor were detained.
