Indian domestic stock markets opened higher today after yesterday's sharp sell-off, supported by easing crude oil prices and hopes of peace talks in Gulf region. Sensex rose 91.03 points, or 0.12%, to 73,671.57, while Nifty gained 20.90 points, or 0.09%, to 23,084. M&M, LT, ICICI Bank, Bajaj Finance and Axis Bank gained, while IT stocks lagged.
