India won silver in the mixed 4x400m relay at the Asian Games 2026. The team of Poovamma, Vishal, Vithya, and Thekkinalil clocked 3:14.46, finishing behind Bahrain, who set an Asian Games record. Vithya's strong finish secured the silver. Earlier, Seema Kumari won bronze in the women's 10,000m, India's first athletics medal at the event.
