The Supreme Court has stayed an Allahabad High Court order directing recovery of ₹5 lakh from Noida DM Medha Roopam and other officials over the NSA detention of student activist Akriti Chaudhary. The High Court had quashed her detention and ordered compensation. The Supreme Court has posted the matter for further hearing on October 7.
