SI K. Venkanna died after an unidentified motorcyclist allegedly struck him during Ganesh immersion duty near Tank Bund in Hyderabad. The officer, attached to Kothagudem 2-Town police station, was deployed near Crane No. 2 when the collision occurred. The rider fled the scene. Police are investigating and searching for the motorcyclist responsible.
