Cyclone Arnab crossed the north Andhra Pradesh-south Odisha coast today, bringing heavy rain and strong winds, according to the IMD. Odisha placed six districts on red alert and evacuated over 1,500 people from Gajapati. Authorities urged residents of low-lying areas to move to safety, while 380 fire and emergency teams remained on high alert.
