The severe deep depression over the westcentral Bay of Bengal intensified yesterday afternoon during active regional monitoring. Moving steadily westwards, this active meteorological weather system centered near Kalingapatnam earlier this morning. The IMD officially reports that it will cross the North Andhra Pradesh and South Odisha coasts tonight.
