Delhi’s Garbage Crisis Meets New User Charges

Delhi residents have raised concerns over poor door-to-door garbage collection and overflowing waste points as new waste-management rules and user charges take shape. Resident groups said they may accept a nominal fee if services improve. They also urged the MCD to integrate informal waste collectors into the official system and ensure cleaner neighbourhoods.
