Two Assam police personnel were arrested for allegedly kidnapping a businessman's associate and robbing him of ₹14 lakh in Karimganj district. Police said Lance Naik Anwar Hossain and constable Sajal Shuklabaidya used an official vehicle in the crime. Investigators recovered ₹1 lakh, while prime accused Sub-Inspector M. Nongthoiba Singha remains absconding.
