EC Bars Rival TMC Factions From Using Party Symbol

The Election Commission has temporarily barred rival TMC factions from using the party’s name and “Flowers & Grass” symbol in West Bengal’s upcoming Nandigram and Rejinagar bypolls. Both groups must submit three preferred names and free symbols by September 18. Polling for the two constituencies is scheduled for October 6.
