Varanasi weaver Sarvesh Kumar Srivastava has made a silk-thread portrait of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with his late mother, Heeraben Modi. The artwork shows her blessing him and uses the traditional Uchand Kala art form. Made in about 45 days, the portrait celebrates their bond and Varanasi’s rich weaving heritage. It will be sent as a birthday gift.
