PVR INOX has informed the Competition Commission of India that it will stop charging 'Virtual Print Fees' from producers. The move could significantly reduce costs for small and medium-budget films. However, the decision may increase pressure on single-screen theatres, which have sought percentage-based revenue sharing for absorbing similar charges.
