Chinese President Xi Jinping left Beijing for the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi at Prime Minister Modi’s invitation. Xi is accompanied by senior Chinese officials, including Wang Yi. PM Modi and Xi are expected to hold bilateral talks focusing on stabilising India-China relations, border peace and strengthening ties following the 2020 Galwan clashes.
