Delhi High Court Denies Vinesh Phogat Trial Entry

Indian freestyle wrestler Vinesh Phogat has suffered a setback after the Delhi High Court refused to allow her to participate in trials for the 2026 World Wrestling Championships. The court declined to grant an exemption from WFI rules, which set eligibility rules for wrestlers. The decision could prevent the former Olympian from competing in the championship.
