TVK-Congress alliance in Tamil Nadu has been named "Secular Social Justice Victory Alliance." The decision followed a meeting of Congress, VCK, MDMK, and IUML leaders in Panaiyur. The alliance discussed a Common Minimum Programme and steering committee. CPI(M) and CPI, which offer external support, were absent from the meeting.
