Senior YSRCP leader Majji Srinivasa Rao, known as Chinna Srinu, has resigned from the party and joined the TDP. He stepped down as Vizianagaram district YSRCP president and left its primary membership. TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu welcomed him. His daughter Siri Sahasra and many supporters also joined the TDP, strengthening its position in the district.
