Maharashtra FDA chief Tukaram Mundhe has led a major food safety crackdown since taking charge on May 25. In his first 100 days, teams conducted 904 raids, sealed 322 establishments, arrested 457 people and seized fake or unsafe products worth ₹34.7 crore. The campaign targeted food adulteration, poor hygiene and illegal businesses across the state.
