At least 9 people died after allegedly consuming spurious liquor in Banda tehsil of Madhya Pradesh's Sagar district, officials said today. The incident reportedly occurred overnight between Saturday and Sunday. The deceased were residents of Baraj village. SP Anurag Sujania and a police team reached the spot, while further details remain awaited.
